What’s New – Spring 2018
The Board of Assessors is seeking interested persons to fill the vacant opening on the Board. This will be a joint appointment between the Board of Assessors and the Board of Selectmen. Per MGL, The person so appointed or elected shall be a registered voter of the town and shall perform the duties of the office until the next annual meeting or until another is qualified.
The Board of Assessors meets bi-weekly, and receives a stipend. Please send us a note of interest to email@example.com, or Selectmen@townofberlin.com or stop by either office to let us know of your interest.
What’s New – Fall 2017
The FY2018 tax rates have been certified.
The FY2018 Rates are as follows:
Residential/Open Space $14.60
The Collect has informed us that the Due for Tax Bills is November 3, 2017.
Abatement Applications are due Friday November 3, 2017 by 1 P.M.
The Assessor’s office will be open on Friday November 3, 2017 from 9 to 1 to receive abatements.

The Division of Local Services, Massachusetts Department of Revenue has posted the FY2018 Recommended Farmland Valuation Advisory Commission (FVAC) recommended land use values for the various categories of land classified under Chapter 61, 61A.
