Online Payment Link

Mail payments, along with your payment stub or identifying information, to:
Town of Berlin
23 Linden Street
Berlin, MA 01503

Please do not mail cash. All checks should be issued to the Town of Berlin.

In Person

We will be happy to accept your cash, check, and credit card payments at our window during normal business hours.

Note: Use of a debit/card will incur a convenience fee.  The Town of Berlin receives only the bill payment amount.  Convenience fees cover various administrative costs with the vendor, not the town, associated with accepting payments and are non-refundable.  The convenience fee when using credit cards is a percentage-based or flat rate fee that varies depending on the card type and amount that is being paid. The convenience fee is automatically calculated and is shown on the payment page before you submit your payment for processing.  Convenience fees will appear as a separate charge from the bill amount on your bank or credit card statement. The credit card fee schedule and payment process are the same as the online payment system currently used by the Town, through UniBank.

Drop Box

You can drop off your payment, along with your payment information, anytime in the drop-box located at the Berlin Municipal Building. Check payments only, no cash.

By Mortgage Escrow Account
If you have an escrow account with your mortgage holder, please make any inquiries as to payment methods directly to them. Most mortgage companies arrange to get tax information directly from us either directly or through a third-party service provider, but some still require the homeowner to forward them the bill.

If you have changed mortgage companies recently, it would be wise to check with this office to see if proper payment was made. (978) 838-2765.

To Deputy Collector

Delinquent Motor Vehicle and Personal Property Taxes for which a Warrant has been issued may be paid directly to the Deputy Collector. Call Kelley and Ryan at (508) 473-9660 for payment information.
