Town Accountant
Responsibilities
The Accountant is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of all town financial records, as per Massachusetts General Laws and Town by-laws.
Some of these duties include:
- Tracking of all general and special fund receipts, expenditure, and receivables.
- Approving and preparing Payroll and Expense Warrants for Selectmen approval.
- Preparing financial statements for use of other financial officers.
The Accountant is appointed by the Selectmen for a three-year term.

- Prior years audited by Powers & Sullivan, Woburn, MA; Sullivan, Rogers & Company, LLC
