Retrocommissioning Reports
Berlin Town Offices & Berlin Memorial Elementary School
As part of our 2016 Green Community Competitive Grant we contracted with Guardian Energy to complete what is called a retrocommission report. Retrocommissioning is commonly used as a way of identifying strategies for reducing energy consumption and costs associated with the operation of a facility. While this is always a goal of the process, this study is primarily focused on improving the
ability of the HVAC systems to properly serve the spaces.
Guardian Energy prepared retrocommissioning reports on the:
- Berlin Town Offices, 23 Linden Street
- Berlin Memorial (Elementary) School, 34 South Street
What you'll find within each report is information on:
- Building Energy Consumption
- HVAC Equipment Descriptions (with photos)
- HVAC Equipment Details and Replacement Costs
- Equipment Service Life
- Water Fixture Efficiency
- Energy Conservation Recommendations
