Friends of the Berlin Public Library

The Friends are a non-profit organization whose goal is to stimulate the interest of the community in the services and needs of the library.
The Friends mission is to enrich the cultural life of the community and to provide fundraising that will enable the library to continue to offer services to the community.
The Friends group is open to anyone in the community who cares about the library. Members can be as active as they wish. Some volunteer regularly, others choose to serve on short-term committees, while others pay dues to help support the library. However you decide to become involved, the Friends welcome your membership.

The Friends support the library by providing:
- Passes to area museums
- Fundraising events
- Funding for children’s programming
- Funding for adult programming
- Nature study and environmental education
