The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has recently announced a schedule of upcoming scoping meetings for the Northeast Energy Direct Project. Please find the details of these FERC-hosted meetings in the attached.
Attached please find this Kinder Morgan letter to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, dated June 2, 2015, in which the company informally advises FERC that the company is dropping its proposed natural gas pipeline piece that was planned to run through privately- and publically-owned lands in Berlin. A formal filing with FERC memorializing that change is expected in July, according to the company.

For those of you not on the FERC subscription list for the KM proposed pipeline — KM filed its draft Environmental Reports today with FERC. According to its cover letter to the FERC, KM filed:
Volumes I and II (two binders) are comprised of the following:
- Draft Environmental Resource Reports 1 through 13
- Appendices A through C and Appendices E through H to the draft Environmental Resource Reports
- Draft alignment sheets and topographic maps

Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, L.L.C. (“TGP”) is planning to expand its existing pipeline system to serve the growing demand for interstate natural gas transmission service in the northeastern United States. The Northeast Energy Direct Project (“Project”) is being developed to meet the growing energy needs in the Northeast and, more specifically, the New England region.
TGP plans to host open houses in January and February, 2015 for the portion of the Project located from Wright, New York to Dracut, Massachusetts (referred to as the market path component of the NED Project), and in March-April, 2015 for the portion of the Project located from Troy, Pennsylvania to Wright, New York (referred to as the supply path component of the NED Project) to provide additional information and answer questions concerning the Project.
