Rescue Truck

| The Berlin Rescue Truck was purchased in 2004 and represents the state-of-the-art in rescue and extrication operations, capabilities needed and used often in response to calls to Route 495. The chassis is a Ford F550 and meets or exceeds all performance requirements for this type of vehicle. It is equipped with all the necessary extrication equipment including the Jaws of Life, vehicle stabilization equipment, cold water rescue survival suits, and extensive portable lighting. In addition it is equipped with medical supplies to work in concert with the Berlin Ambulance, and provides rehab supplies as needed. |
