During the period September 1 to October 15, 2010 the Berlin Cultural Council (BCC) received 35 applications for grants for funding in 2011. After a thorough review of each proposal, with special emphasis on the benefits to Berlin residents, both young and old, BCC selected 15 proposals for future review. Approval letters were mailed on January 15, 2011.

In August of 2010 BCC was notified by the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) that final approval now rested with our council. MCC’s allotment to BCC for its 2010-2011 grants program was $4,000.00. Using $510.00 of existing BCC funds, the council was able to award $4,450.00.  See the following chart for a listing of recipients:  BCC FY2011 Report
