Public hearings held by the Berlin Conservation Commission are posted according to legal requirements. Posting of wetland hearings are the responsibility of the applicant. For convenience only, public hearings are listed below. All hearings are held on the 2nd floor of the Berlin Town Offices, 23 Linden Street.
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – TOWN OF BERLIN
The Berlin Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 8:00 p.m., at the Berlin Town Office Building, 23 Linden St., to consider the Notice of Intent application filed with the commission by the Town of Berlin Highway Department seeking permission to fill an area subject to the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Law. The location of the work is: the North side of South Street at its junction with Linden Street. The proposed work is: fill along the northerly side of the road and sidewalk in order to prevent continued settling and eventual collapse of the sidewalk and road. Copies of the Notice of Intent and Plan of work may be examined online. The Notice of Intent and Plan may also be viewed on the bulletin board aside the Town Clerk’s Office at 23 Linden Street during normal business hours.
