Sports and Academic Achievement Awards
Cub Scouts offers a variety
of sports and academic achievement awards as "Belt Loops" and "Pins". The
Loops are fairly easy to obtain, while the Pins require additional
development of knowledge and skill.
It is VERY LIKELY that your
scout has already completed the requirements for several Belt
Loops such as: Bicycling, Baseball, Soccer, Swimming, Art,
Collecting, etc.
Example: Soccer Belt Loop Requirements:
- Explain the rules of soccer to your leader or adult partner.
- Spend at least 30 minutes practicing soccer skills.
- Play a game of soccer.
Please visit
web site below to see the requirements. Notify
your Den Leader when your scout has completed an achievement,
so that their award can be ordered.
